UX Writing &
Storytelling

I can shape ideas into words, from UX writing to interviews to storytelling. Content created with simplicity, clarity, and flow allows readers to get to where they need to be without getting frustrated or confused.

I have written and edited content for health tech, conservation, and education. My writing style is short, sweet, and to the point.

I had the pleasure of interviewing Sandeep and sharing his story in the 2017 fall Mountaineer magazine.

Post-Surgery Summits: The Resilience of Body and Brain

Tess Wendel was 24-years old when she was diagnosed with acoustic neuroma. It’s a brain tumor that grows in the space surrounding the hearing and balance nerve. Tess was a dancer, a backpacker, and had just started her job at The Mountaineers, excited to get into climbing. Prior to that, she was a park ranger in the North Cascades. A brain tumor — especially one that affects balance — could devastate her active lifestyle. I interviewed Tess and documented her amazing journey in the 2018 winter Mountaineer magazine.
